Biography
Susanna Thompson was born on January 27th, 1958 in San Diego, California.
She is best known to television audience for her outstanding performance as Karen Sammler on the award-winning ABC show ‘Once and Again’. Recently Susanna starred as Queen Rose Benjamin on the unfortunately short-lived show ‘Kings’ (NBC). In 2007 she appeared in the WW II movie ‘American Pastime’. Feature film credits include ‘When a Man loves a Woman’, ‘Random Hearts’ , ‘Dragonfly’ and ‘The Ballad of Jack and Rose’.
Susanna also guest starred in several hit shows such as ‘The X-Files’, ‘L.A. Law’, ‘NYPD Blue’, ‘Chicago Hope’, ‘Star Trek: Voyager’, ‘Law & Order: SVU’, ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ and ‘Without a Trace’. In 2006 she starred as Judith Webster in the short-lived show ‘The Book of Daniel’ (NBC), co-starring Aidan Quinn. From 2006 till 2007 she played the recurring role of Lt. Col. Hollis Mann on ‘NCIS’ (CBS) alongside Mark Harmon.
Susanna is a San Diego State University graduate and is skilled in Aikido and stage combat. She currently resides in California with her husband.
